General strike in Israel: protests, arrests, and roadblocks

(LaPresse) Israeli police said they have arrested 32 protesters across the country so far during protests and roadblocks related to the ongoing general strike against the expansion of war operations in Gaza, organized by hostage families to demand a deal on the release of prisoners and a ceasefire. Eleven of the detained protesters, The Times of Israel reports, were arrested in Tel Aviv after "violating public order and significantly compromising freedom of movement" on the streets.
