Three thousand protesters stormed the TAV sites
Tensions were high during the march against the Turin-Lyon highway, organized by the No TAV movement as part of the Alta Felicità Festival in Venaus. Over three thousand protesters split into three groups, targeting the high-speed rail construction sites. They attacked the sites with battering rams and firecrackers. In Susa, the Traduerivi construction site was set ablaze, and the Turin-Bardonecchia highway was occupied with barricades.
