Survivors of the shipwreck off Lampedusa arrive at the Favarolo dock.

There are about sixty of them. They arrived shortly after 1:00 a.m. at the Favaloro pier on a Coast Guard patrol boat. The first to land was a young man who was taken by stretcher and then by ambulance to the outpatient clinic. This is the transfer of a group to the hotspot where the survivors of the shipwreck, the one in the Imbriacola district, are already being housed.
