West Nile virus death toll in Lazio: 80-year-old man who lived in Aprilia

An 80-year-old man, a resident of Aprilia, died this morning in the intensive care unit of the Santa Maria Goretti Hospital in Latina. The patient, with comorbidities, had been hospitalized at the Pontine hospital for approximately three weeks. This is the eighth death from West Nile virus in Lazio, according to the Lazio Regional Office.
