Gas continues to rise below 33 euros at the Amsterdam TTF.

Natural gas continues to rise, falling below the €33 mark on the Amsterdam TTF. September futures contracts are up 0.88% at €32.73 per MWh, helped by the warm weather in southern Europe.
An increase in demand linked to the greater consumption of electricity to power air conditioning systems is slowing the replenishment of EU reserves, which currently exceed 71.6% at 813.1 TWh, compared to almost 1,000 TWh in the same period of 2024. Italy leads the way with 83.21% of capacity used and 168.52 TWh, compared to 177.7 TWh a year ago.
Germany follows with 64.23% at 159.4 TWh compared to 230 TWh on August 11, 2024.
