Milan Stock Exchange closes up 0.65% with MPS and Mediobanca in the spotlight

The Milan Stock Exchange closed up 0.65%, with the FTSE MIB at 41,009 points. MPS rallied (+5%) after the results. Generali rose (+2.27%), which will continue to evaluate Mediobanca's proposals (+4%).
Among the banking stocks, Bper (+3.2%) and Banco Bpm (+2.18%) are also well-bought, as is Popolare di Sondrio (+1.7%) in the wake of the half-yearly results.
Tim (+1.98%) and Interpump (+3.38%) also rose, confirming the guidance. Among other shares, Leonardo (+3%) performed well. On the other side of the market, Ferrari (-2.48%), Diasorin (-2.2%), and StM (-1.4%) fell.
