Stock market, sales prevail in the wake of Wall Street

European markets experienced a decline, accelerating their decline after Wall Street's negative start. October saw a significant number of layoffs in the US, with 153,074 job cuts during the month, an increase of 183% compared to September. Milan fell 0.85%, Frankfurt -1.31%, Paris -1.36%, and London -0.42%. At the Milan Stock Exchange, Diasorin plunged 18.7%, while Lottomatica also fell 6.08% and Campari -5.36%. Banca Mediolanum and Azimut rose 2.29% and 4.99%, respectively. The euro strengthened against the dollar at 1.1535. Brent crude fell to just over $63 a barrel.
