Political polls: Meloni gains more confidence in the government, but her positive opinion of the government declines.

Brothers of Italy remains the leading party with voting intentions at 28.1%, down slightly from a month ago (-0.3%). The Democratic Party follows with 22.1% (-0.1%), while the Five Star Movement (M5S) rises to 12.7% (+0.8%). This is according to a survey conducted by the research institute YouTrend for Sky Tg24, released today by the all-news channel. According to the survey, AVS (+0.4%, 7.3%), Azione (+0.4%, 3.6%), +Europa (2.1%, +0.1%), and Italia Viva (2%, +0.2%) also rose. Forza Italia remained stable at 8.9%, while the League stood at 8.2% (-0.1%). Noi Moderati (Us Moderati) was at 0.3% (-0.1%). Other parties were at 4.7%, with abstentions and undecided voters at 41.6%.
The trend of negative opinions for the government led by Giorgia Meloni continues, dropping to 34% (-3%), while negative opinions rise to 62% (+2%). Trust is declining or at best stable across all parties. Compared to the survey of June 16th, specifically, the leaders in whom Italians place the greatest trust are: Giorgia Meloni at 34% (-1%); Giuseppe Conte stable at 27%; Antonio Tajani at 26% (-2%), Elly Schlein at 25% (-1%). Matteo Salvini remains stable at 22%, Carlo Calenda at 16%, and Matteo Renzi at 11%. The most widely held political figure remains President Sergio Mattarella (60%), albeit down 3%.
Regarding the assessment of Meloni's thousand-day government, Matteo Salvini is the most unpopular politician: although no one within the League electorate indicates him as the "worst" minister, for all other political segments, both majority and opposition, he is the one who garners the most negative opinions (42%).
Among the most popular, however, in addition to the Prime Minister (41%) and the Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani (16%), the Minister of Economy Giancarlo Giorgetti stands out (17% of those who expressed an opinion), who is largely considered the best member of the government by the majority of opposition voters (18% spontaneous among the broad field, 38% among those who expressed an opinion).
Tourism Minister Daniela Santanché received a negative rating (11% positive, 66% negative). She is the only member of the government whose performance is also negatively assessed by the majority (51% of center-right voters rejected her). The ministers with the most positive ratings are Defense Minister Guido Crosetto (33% positive, 39% negative) and, once again, Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti (33% positive, 35% negative). Both Giorgia Meloni (34% positive, but 55% negative) and Antonio Tajani (30% positive, 48% negative) performed better.
The tightening of femicide legislation is the most popular measure (38%). However, it is less popular among center-right voters, where it ranks fourth (34%), behind the elimination of basic income (51%), the second most popular measure overall (29%), especially among center-right voters (51%), at the same time the fourth least popular overall (21%) and third among opposition voters (33%), strongly opposed by the Five Star Movement in particular (43%).
This is followed by the tightening of rules on immigration (41%) and on occupations and public demonstrations (35%).
The measure for the Strait Bridge is the worst overall (36%), followed by the Security Bill which is particularly causing conflict between the two electorates, representing the second measure most opposed by the opposition (50%), in particular by the PD (60%) and AVS (63%, among these it is the worst measure overall).
