Fake photos of Trump and Epstein created with AI flood social media.

Seven fake photos and one video generated by artificial intelligence (AI) showing Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein talking to underage girls are flooding social media, racking up over seven million views. This is according to researchers at NewsGuard, the platform that tracks online misinformation, as the case of the financier convicted of sexual abuse and international child trafficking who committed suicide in prison in 2019 continues to escalate in the US.
One of these deepfakes shows Trump and Epstein watching a group of girls dancing, while Sade's "Is it a Crime?" plays in the background. At least two other fake photos show the couple on a couch next to underage girls. Another fake photo shows Trump dancing with a teenager on Epstein's private island, with the caption: "Trump was 50 when this photo was taken. What kind of man does something like this?"
The AI-generated images and video have now garnered more than 7.2 million views on social media, according to NewsGuard estimates. NewsGuard said it used multiple detection tools, including Hive and IdentifAI, to determine that the content was created using AI.
According to NewsGuard, however, there are no authentic photos or videos of Trump and Epstein interacting with underage girls. The US president was photographed at several social events with Epstein until the early 2000s and flew several times on his private jet, according to publicly available flight logs, but he was never charged or listed as a suspect in connection with the Epstein case.
