An easyJet plane was grounded in France after a man tried to enter the cockpit.

A passenger suffering from delirium tried to enter the cockpit of an easyJet flight traveling from France to Portugal, forcing the plane to return to the ground shortly after takeoff on Friday, French police and the airline reported Saturday.
The incident occurred on Friday shortly after the plane took off from the French city of Lyon bound for Porto .
The man was subdued by other passengers and held until the plane landed again in Lyon, according to French police.

"Flight EJU4429 from Lyon to Porto returned to Lyon shortly after takeoff due to the behavior of a passenger on board," easyJet confirmed in a statement.
"The flight was met by police upon arrival, and once the passenger was removed, the flight continued to Porto," the airline added.
Police said the man, a 26-year-old Portuguese citizen , underwent medical examinations and was suffering from dizziness and delirium. He was then admitted to a local hospital.
According to the specialized media outlet AirLive , the easyJet plane departed Lyon at 6:34 p.m. local time on runway 35L. The Airbus A320 later halted its climb at 20,000 feet after a passenger incident was reported.
