BACA, Yucatán.— This Tuesday, a motorcyclist collided with a car parked on the shoulder of the Baca – Motul highway, resulting in one person injured and material damage.
The incident occurred shortly after 8 a.m. on the Baca-Motul highway, at kilometer 26.
According to the information gathered, a young man identified as Isaí PR, 20 years old, who was driving a 150 cc Xpeed type motorcycle from west to east, was unable to avoid an Aveo type car that was parked on the shoulder of the road and collided from behind with the rear left side of the vehicle.
After the strong impact, the motorcyclist suffered an open fracture in his right leg and various injuries.
Paramedics from the National Emergency Commission arrived at the scene and treated the injured man and transferred him to the IMSS hospital in Motul.
Elements of the Baca Municipal Police also arrived, who informed the National Guard, Roads and Highways Division, who took note of the event.
