Price of the dollar today, Thursday, July 31, 2025

MEXICO CITY.— This Thursday, the US currency started the day with losses, being offered in international markets at 18.8547 pesos per dollar wholesale , according to the financial platform Investing .
At the start of trading in the foreign exchange market , the dollar fell 0.08%, or 0.0178 units.
The dollar closed Wednesday at 18.8706 pesos per dollar and opened today at 18.8712 pesos per dollar, representing an annual variation of 0.47%.
This Thursday, July 31, 2025, the price of the dollar in Mexico opened the retail day with a maximum selling price of 19.9601 pesos per dollar .
According to information from various banking institutions, at the opening, the US dollar is selling for up to 19.9601 pesos at Bank of America branches, while the maximum purchase price is 18.26 pesos at Banamex bank counters.

At purchase, the lowest price is 17.65 pesos per dollar offered by Banco Azteca, and the highest is 18.26 pesos per dollar offered by Banco Banamex.

For its part, the Bank of Mexico announced the exchange rate for debt payments denominated in US dollars payable in Mexico, which it set at 18.7960 pesos per dollar.
Meanwhile, the 48-hour interbank rate was set at 18.8567.
According to The Economy Forecast Agency, yesterday the dollar's exchange rate fell by -0.05% compared to the previous day.
For Friday, August 1, 2025, the agency sets a maximum purchase price of 18.715 pesos per dollar, while its sales forecast is up to 19.285 pesos per dollar.
