JSW has its own AI virtual assistant

Its name AITIS is a combination of the English acronym for artificial intelligence (AI) and the company JSW IT Systems.

AITIS is available to JSW IT Systems employees, users of the training and information platform "Strefa sztygara i nie tylko", representatives of the Integrated Management System and other employee groups and teams of the JSW Capital Group.

- I am glad that we have launched the AITIS chatbot in our Company. This is yet another proof that we focus on modern and innovative solutions. We show that even in mining it is worth reaching for new technologies that make life easier for employees and help them access the necessary information faster. This tool takes the use of our knowledge resources to a completely new level , both in terms of how we search for information and in everyday communication - said Adam Rozmus, Deputy President of the Management Board of JSW SA for Technical and Operational Affairs.

Thanks to integration with organizational knowledge resources, AITIS enables voice and text conversations, using the context of the question asked and responding to it in a natural way. Importantly, the source of the answer is indicated in the response, which allows the user to verify the information received. Chatbot resources can be successively adapted to the needs of the organization and employees.

- AITIS enables the division of data resources into separate areas, thanks to which it is possible to precisely manage access to some information, granting it to selected users. This provides wide possibilities for using the chatbot in a controlled manner - emphasizes Robert Zając, head of the AI/BI Competence Center.

Unlike popular GPT chats available in the cloud - ChatBot AITIS is a local solution fully controlled by the organization. AITIS is installed on the servers of the Data Processing Center of the JSW Capital Group . Thanks to this, it meets the highest security standards, guarantees the confidentiality of processed data and is compliant with industry regulations.

- The implementation of AITIS is an important step towards the digital transformation of the JSW Capital Group. It is not just a chatbot, it is an intelligent assistant that supports employees in quick and safe access to industry knowledge - emphasizes Tomasz Błaszczyk, President of the Management Board of JSW IT Systems, adding: - Thanks to integration with the resources of the "Strefa sztygara i nie tylko" portal and the use of large language models, AITIS can conduct a natural conversation and provide precise answers. I believe that this tool, which is already an inseparable element of the work of our teams, can also be offered to other companies as an on-premise solution.
