New iPhone 17s: Everything we know about the phones Apple will unveil tomorrow

Apple will announce its new family of iPhone devices tomorrow, with a possible new addition, but also a departure.
At 7:00 PM in Spain on Tuesday, September 9, the Apple Event: Awe Dropping will begin, where Apple will announce its new iPhone 17 family, as well as the Apple Watch and, perhaps, new headphones.
For now, it's all rumors and leaks, but everything points to Apple redistributing its family of phones to join the new market trend of ultra-thin phones.
Under the name iPhone 17 Air, this year's big news could be this ultra-thin device, between 5.5 and 6.6 mm thick, which would change Apple's strategy. Apple could be trying to diversify its offering in a very mature market with a device focused on design rather than capabilities, as its size means it will have to forgo high-end features.
The most worrying cut could be the device's battery, although rumors suggest another major cut will be made to the cameras, with a single rear lens.
Another new feature of this slim model could be the use of e-SIM and the lack of a physical SIM card slot, which could limit its sales in some markets or with smaller operators.
Additionally, the iPhone family as we know it will undergo another major change. According to leaks, Apple will be shedding the Plus version and leaving behind four models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The Pro models could also undergo aesthetic changes with a new elongated camera module , closer to the design of Google's Pixels.
The cameras could also have interesting improvements in the quality of the lenses as well as the screens, since the entire range could have a refresh rate of 120 Hz that currently only the Pro models have. In addition, the new iPhones would introduce a system that will facilitate the replacement of the battery and, the Pro models, would integrate the new A19 Pro chip, with better cooling (vapor chamber), higher brightness (up to 3,000 nits), more RAM (12 GB), and an improved battery of up to 5,000 mAh in the Pro Max.
Another major unknown is price. Apple is facing a complex economic environment, in the midst of a tariff war and rising component costs, and is redefining its structure to reduce its dependence on China.
In this context, some analysts anticipate a slight increase in the price of certain models , especially the Pro, between 50 and 100 dollars, placing the new model, Air similar to the old Plus, more expensive than the iPhone 17 but cheaper than the Pro.
The event won't be limited to phones. Everything points to the announcement of the Apple Watch Series 11, with greater energy efficiency and a revamped chip, and the Apple Watch Ultra 3, which would include improvements to the display, battery life, and possibly satellite connectivity.
The audio range will also receive updates with the third-generation AirPods Pro, which, according to some leaks, could incorporate sensors to measure heart rate, real-time translation, and even a case with a touchscreen.
