He reported to the police station. His visit was supposed to last only a short while. However, he would not return home for 6 months.

A routine visit to the police station in Żmigród ended with a surprise. The 29-year-old resident of our district only had to sign the attendance list, because he was under police supervision. He expected a short visit, but the situation turned out differently. He did not expect that he would not return home. When the officers checked the data in the system, it turned out that the man was wanted in order to serve a six-month prison sentence.

In view of this, the 29-year-old was detained. After the officers had prepared the necessary documentation in accordance with the court order, the man was taken to a police room for detainees, from where he was taken to the Wrocław Detention Centre the following day. Photo: KPP in Trzebnica.
