Important public health study

A nationwide study of the health of Poles – WOBASZ (Multi-centre National Study of the Health Status of the Population) will be carried out in our district.

If you receive an invitation to participate, the District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Trzebnica invites you to take advantage. This is an important initiative of the Ministry of Health and the National Institute of Cardiology, the aim of which is to develop better methods of preventing circulatory system diseases.

If you are selected, you will receive a postal invitation and then be contacted by a trained interviewer.

The examination includes a health interview, physical measurements, and laboratory tests (including cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure).

Participation is voluntary, free of charge and completely safe . After completing the study, participants will receive a blood pressure monitor and a package of educational materials.

The study will be carried out in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in the period June-August 2025 in the following counties: Jawor, Lubin, Trzebnica, Wałbrzych and Wrocław.
