- The ambassadors' candidacies are reviewed by the Foreign Service Convention. One bloc voted, meaning all ambassadors in their entirety. The presidential side said that it had to be done individually and we agreed to that. We decided that we recognized the presidential side's argument - he added.
- Now, when the names of future ambassadors are being submitted, the president is asked to express his reservations or substantive comments - he explained.
- From the legal point of view, not much has changed, but we are glad that we have managed to reach an agreement that will help avoid problems for the Polish diplomatic service - he added.
MFA Spokesperson: We are counting on the first ambassadorial nominationsWroński emphasized that "no one has taken away from the president this basic prerogative of nominating ambassadors ". The fact that the president's remarks will be taken into account does not change the essence of the matter. Both sides will continue to apply the act, even though we did not like it from the beginning, but we are trying to adapt to it - he said.
- We are counting on the first ambassadorial nominations from the president - he added. He emphasized that this should happen "as soon as possible".
The MFA spokesman reminded us that we have a war abroad and the international situation is uncertain. - In difficult situations, when there is political agreement, it is always better than when there is political disagreement. In various historical situations, disagreement within Poland was played by various other countries and it did not serve Poland - he reminded.

- So in moments like these we should be happy that the parties are reaching an agreement - he added.
He emphasized that "now everything depends on the president". - Only he has the right, at the request of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, confirmed by the Prime Minister, to nominate and dismiss ambassadors - Wroński summed up.

Since March last year, there has been a conflict between the Presidential Palace and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs over Polish ambassadors. At that time, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorki, decided to end the mission of over 50 ambassadors. He pointed out that as the new head of diplomacy, he has the right to choose his associates and diplomatic staff, and the President of the Republic of Poland - in accordance with the Constitution - implements the foreign policy created by the government.
In turn, President Andrzej Duda, also referring to the Constitution, pointed to the need for his countersignature to the decision of the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On Monday, the president announced on Polsat News that an agreement had been reached on the matter. - Since the Minister of Foreign Affairs is restoring the standard procedure that has always been there, which begins with the president's initial acceptance of the candidacy, then I am of course ready to conduct these procedures - he said.
- The government returned to the normal fair and reliable procedure that has always been followed, which it wanted to break - he added.
