TVN: Another victim of a serial killer in the capital has been found. Second suspect arrested
So far, three murdered women have been reported. All were killed in a similar way within a week. The first murder took place on the night of February 16-17 on Franciszkańska Street in the city center. An 80-year-old woman was strangled with a pillow.
Now it turns out that – also on February 16 – a murder took place in an apartment on Pruszkowska Street in Ochota. According to investigators, it is connected to the other murders.
On February 23, another body was discovered. This time, that of an 89-year-old senior citizen at ul. Księcia Trojdena 5 in Ochota. And the following night, another victim was attacked at ul. Wąwozowa in Ursynów. She was 73 years old. According to the monitoring obtained by "Fakt", an unknown man appeared in the area at 7:16 p.m. First, he sat in his car for an hour (he had a Polish license plate), then he got out, took a bag with him and headed towards the apartment where the murder took place. The attacker was detained by the police when he tried to escape through the window. Who called the police to the scene? The prosecutor's office does not want to reveal this at the moment.
In turn, "TVN Warszawa" unofficially established that the first person detained in this case is a Pole, around 45 years old. The second detainee is a Ukrainian citizen.
Officially, investigators are not revealing the details of the crime. However, they have announced a press conference to be held today or tomorrow.
– Until then, we will not provide any information in the interest of the investigation – the prosecutor’s office comments.
