The former CEO of Energa is returning to the company. He resigned a month and a half ago.

The Management Board of Energa announced that on November 5, 2025, the company received a declaration from its majority shareholder (Orlen) on the appointment of Sławomir Staszak to the company's supervisory board as a member, effective November 6, 2025.
Furthermore, the announcement stated that Sławomir Staszak does not conduct any activity competitive to the activity of Energa, does not participate in a competitive company and does not participate in another competitive legal entity as a member of its bodies.
Sławomir Staszak resigned from the Management Board of Energa and from the position of its CEO as of September 29, 2025, and at the same time moved to the Management Board of Orlen
Let us recall that since 2020, Energa has belonged to the Orlen Group, a multi-energy concern that owns refineries in Poland, the Czech Republic and Lithuania, as well as a network of petrol stations, including in Germany, Slovakia, Hungary and Austria.
Energa's distribution network spans 200,000 km, covering roughly a quarter of Poland. Of all domestic renewable energy sources operating in our country, a third are connected to Energa Operator's distribution lines – these assets have a total capacity of over 10 GW.
Energa states that it is the leader in terms of the share of renewable energy sources in the total installed capacity of all generation assets - at the end of the first half of this year it was 54%, which consisted of photovoltaic installations with a total capacity of 362 MW, wind farms with a total capacity of 283 MW, hydroelectric power plants with a total capacity of 202 MW and biomass sources with a total capacity of approximately 82 MW.
