On Tuesday, May 6, high school graduates took the basic exam in mathematics. For many high school graduates, this is a stressful exam - after all, mathematics is considered a difficult subject. To pass, you have to write the exam correctly at 30 percent. According to the high school students from Szczecin, this was not that difficult.
The exam began at 9 a.m. The students had 180 minutes to write it. The templates for the papers were published around 2 p.m. by the Central Examination Board. The students had to solve 31 tasks (open and closed), and the maximum number of points to obtain was 50.
- It went quite well, I am optimistic - said one of the high school graduates from the 1st General Secondary School at al. Piastów in Szczecin right after the exam.
His friend, however, claimed that his high school leaving exam in mathematics was not the best.
- That's because I'm a humanist, he admitted.
The students from the math class were more enthusiastic:
- The tasks were more difficult than in the mock exam in December - they assessed. - But for us this exam was easy, we are science students. We will choose such studies as well. Certainly passing it with a thirty percent is not a big challenge, everyone should pass it. Especially since the sheet is accompanied by formula cards.
High school graduates said that the tasks included many sequences and operations with unknowns.
This year's Matura exam will last until May 24. On May 5, the students took the Polish language exam at the basic level. On Wednesday (May 7), they will take the foreign language exam at the basic level. The results of the Matura exams are to be announced on July 8.©℗
