Collision on IC6 leaves two injured

A road collision between two light vehicles caused minor injuries to two occupants of the vehicles. The accident occurred at the roundabout on National Road 17 which gives access to the IC6 and the alert was given at 4:30 pm.
One of the victims was a pregnant woman who was taken to the University Hospitals of Coimbra as a precaution, while the other injured person was a man who refused hospital transport. Despite the serious accident, both occupants were already out of the vehicles when emergency services arrived at the scene.
The Tábua Volunteer Firefighters were at the scene with three vehicles and nine operatives.
