Government delivers 157 vehicles to the GNR and 51 to the PSP

The Ministry of Internal Administration (MAI) delivered 157 vehicles to the GNR and 51 to the PSP this week, in an investment of 7.5 million euros, the executive announced today.

According to the ministry, 113 vehicles were delivered to the National Republican Guard (GNR) on Friday, in addition to the 44 delivered on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, the Ministry also delivered 51 cars to the Public Security Police, also within the scope of the Infrastructure and Equipment Programming of the Security Forces and Services.

In a statement, the MAI states that this reinforcement of the security forces fleet represents a total investment of 7.4 million euros.

“The objective is to reinforce operationality and preventive capacity and to overcome the lack of equipment, police vehicles and other instruments”, says the ministry.
