Moraes allows 'Débora do batom' to receive religious assistance at home

Regarding the other requests, Moraes stated that the hairdresser has the right to medical care, however, her lawyers must fill out authorization requests as needed and attach "documentation proving the location, day and time". Regarding the cell phone, Moraes said that the request was previously granted.
Remember the conviction
On June 13, the Supreme Federal Court rejected Débora's appeal and sentenced her to 14 years, with the defendant having to serve 12 and a half years in prison, one and a half years in detention, and pay 100 days of fines, each worth one-third of the minimum wage. She must also wear an electronic ankle bracelet and is prohibited from accessing social media or talking to other defendants.
In his vote, Moraes described the episode in which Débora spray-painted the statue in front of the Court with the words "You lost, idiot." "Showing her hands stained with red lipstick, she celebrated, smiling towards the crowd that had invaded the Praça dos Três Poderes and other public buildings," analyzed the judge.
Débora even wrote a letter to Minister Alexandre de Moraes apologizing for the graffiti on the statue. The hairdresser explained that she was unaware of the symbolic value of Alfredo Ceschiatti's work of art at the time.
She is currently under house arrest. Débora was released from prison after two years, in March 2025, by order of Moraes. The law guarantees this right to mothers of minors and she has two children, one 10 years old and the other 12.
