Bolsonaro's appeal to Moraes to be released from house arrest

The defense of Jair Bolsonaro (PL) appealed to the Supreme Federal Court, this Wednesday 6, against the decision of Minister Alexandre de Moraes to impose house arrest on the former president.
The lawyers are asking Moraes to reconsider the order. If he doesn't, they continue, the minister must submit the case for an in-person review by the First Panel, which also includes Justices Cristiano Zanin, Flávio Dino, Cármen Lúcia, and Luiz Fux.
“There was no failure to comply with the imposed precautionary measures” , supports the former captain's defense.
When ordering house arrest, Moraes highlighted "repeated non-compliance with the precautionary measures" imposed on Bolsonaro in July . According to the judge, the defendant used social media profiles of allies—including those of his children—to spread messages inciting attacks on the Supreme Federal Court and "blatantly supporting" foreign intervention in the Brazilian judiciary.
The minister also stated that he will revoke the house arrest order and order preventive detention if restrictive measures are not complied with. Moraes limited the number of visits Bolsonaro can receive without Supreme Court approval and prohibited him from using a cell phone, either directly or through third parties.
Furthermore, the measures ordered by Moraes on July 17 remain in force, such as the prohibition of maintaining contact with ambassadors and others investigated for attempted coup d'état, and the ban on the use of social media, directly or by third parties.
“Failure to comply with the rules of house arrest or any of the precautionary measures will result in their revocation and the immediate ordering of preventive detention,” the judge added.
