Death toll from Kyiv attack rises to 28

The attack occurred in the early hours of Thursday. Initially, six people were reported dead, with the possibility of more bodies being found among the rubble. What has been labeled "one of the heaviest attacks in recent weeks" has already left at least 28 dead and 159 injured—30 of whom remain hospitalized more than 24 hours later, reports the Interfax news agency.
"During the night and morning, rescue teams removed 10 bodies from the rubble of the residential building in the Sviatochynski district, including that of a two-year-old child," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said on the Telegram messaging platform.
Meanwhile, Ukraine was again targeted this morning. A 63-year-old man died in a shelling attack on a home in the town of Vesselianka, in the Zaporizhia region (east), the head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, announced on Telegram.
