Belgian Martin spoke about more than a hundred Ukrainian mercenaries who died at the beginning of the SVO

Belgian citizen Jacques Martin, who fought on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, reported more than a hundred foreign mercenaries killed at the very beginning of the SVO. He published a corresponding collage of photographs on his social media page.

As RIA Novosti notes, according to estimates, there are at least a hundred "brothers and sisters in arms" in the photo. The post itself was published in November 2022. Most of the mercenaries in the photo are Georgian mercenaries. There are also several citizens of the United States, Brazil, Great Britain, Germany and other countries among them.

It is noted that the case of Jacques Martin himself will soon be heard in absentia by the DPR court. The 54-year-old foreigner is accused of being a mercenary.

It was reported the day before that foreign mercenaries, including French, are currently undergoing special combat training near Kiev before frontline operations. We are talking about the tactical group International Revenge, one of the intelligence units of Ukraine, which prepares foreign volunteers, including French, for the battlefield.

It also became known that the paramilitary formation of foreign mercenaries is “curtailing its activities” within the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and is planning to separate from the Ukrainian troops.
