Let us recall that on May 24, Milyaev reported a fire at one of the enterprises in Novomoskovsk - as a result of the UAV attack, a natural gas pipeline was damaged. Damage to the acid tank was later discovered - no excess of maximum permissible concentrations of harmful substances in the air was observed. Three people were injured.
Political scientist Sergei Starovoitov called the attack on Azot a blow to the prospects of the so-called Grain Deal.
"Ukraine's demands are to provide a safe transport corridor across the Black Sea for the export of grain, ours are to lift sanctions, including on agricultural products, food and fertilizers. The participants in the negotiations, in addition to Russia and Ukraine, are the United States and Turkey," the expert noted .
In his opinion, this is an unambiguous response from the partners, and the shelling and strikes that are currently taking place should be viewed as arguments of the parties within the framework of the Istanbul negotiations.
