Federal Brain Center Methods to Help Novgorod Healthcare

In the Novgorod region, they intend to implement treatment methods from the Federal Center for Brain and Neurotechnology.

A delegation of scientists from the Federal Center for Brain and Neurotechnology of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia, headed by the Director General, neurobiologist and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vsevolod Belousov, visited the Novgorod Region. Moscow specialists got acquainted with the activities of healthcare and social institutions in the Novgorod Region. They met with colleagues from the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital, the Clinical Hospital for War Veterans, the Novgorod Regional Clinical Hospital, and the Vozvrashchenie Center.

Prospects for cooperation between the Federal Center and our region were discussed by the acting governor of the Novgorod region Alexander Dronov and the general director of the center Vsevolod Belousov. The conversation was attended by the deputy chairman of the regional government, curator of the social sphere Anna Timofeeva.

“ It is important for us to implement, with your help, in medical institutions, and most importantly, in social institutions, the most advanced methods of restoring the cognitive and psycho-emotional health of adults, children, the older generation, and participants in the SVO ,” emphasized Alexander Dronov.

The region has a demand for the development of high-tech care for patients with neurological, neurosurgical and cardiovascular pathology, for the study of new diagnostic and rehabilitation methods. In turn, the center's scientists are ready to share knowledge and help the regions master methods that show good results in the capital.

Let us recall that the Federal Center for Brain and Neurotechnology of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia is engaged in fundamental and applied scientific research in the field of biomedicine, cerebrovascular pathology and stroke.
