Municipal competitions of sanitary posts revealed the best organizations of Veliky Novgorod

The day before, the regional center hosted annual tactical and special training – municipal competitions of sanitary posts. Specialists from various organizations of Veliky Novgorod gathered at the Volna stadium to evaluate their knowledge and demonstrate important skills in practice. A total of 200 people participated in the current competition.

An exciting part of the event were the master classes that were conducted for the participants by specialists from the Civil Defense and Population Protection Department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. They also demonstrated their equipment.

Eight teams from different institutions and organizations of the city competed in work in conditional hotbeds of nuclear and infectious lesions, in a chemical hotbed. They also had to answer questions of a theoretical quiz, pass inspections of equipment and combat sheets, and fulfill standards for the use of personal protective equipment.

The prize places were distributed as follows:

“The assessment of the knowledge and practical actions of the sanitary posts was carried out by a panel of judges, which consisted of specialists from the Central City Clinical Hospital, the Novgorod Ambulance Station , the Novgorod Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital, the Novgorod Region Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, as well as the Veliky Novgorod Civil Defense and Emergencies Department,” the regional center administration said.
