Novgorod Youth Center Tells About Signs That Help During Exams

The main stage of the examination campaign for 11th grade students began in the Novgorod Region on May 23. Many generations of children have used various signs before such important events to cope with anxiety and feel more confident. These traditions help to tune in to the best and believe in their own strength.
The Novgorod Youth Center shared such signs on its social networks. Everyone knows about some of them, for example, that you can’t wash your hair before exams, so that luck and knowledge don’t “wash away.”
It is believed that knowledge will be better stored in the head if you sleep on a textbook the night before the Unified State Exam. There is another sign - to pretend to be left-handed: in the morning before the exam, do everything with your left hand and foot, so that luck will smile. Some advise shaking the hand of an excellent student - this way, according to legend, you can get some of his energy.
Students have a special way of inviting luck: at midnight they shout out the window, holding their record book in their hands: “Freebie, come!”
There are many options, you can choose one or several. But the most important thing is to review the material and not worry. Confidence and calmness will help you pass the exam successfully.
