Veliky Novgorod to start training new generation IT specialists

Acting Governor of the Novgorod Region Alexander Dronov recently visited the educational campus of School 21 at Novgorod State University. He discussed the role of this project in the development of digital technologies and the training of highly qualified IT specialists. The North-West Bank team and Chairman Dmitry Sukhoverkhov also completed a three-day course on neural networks and AI.

"Yesterday, artificial intelligence seemed like something from the realm of science fiction, but today it has become an integral part of our lives. Neural networks are available to almost everyone, and the ability to work with them is becoming a key skill. Many employers already consider it a competitive advantage, and soon it will become a mandatory requirement for specialists in any field. School 21 does not just provide knowledge, it develops digital thinking, the ability to work in a team, and develops leadership and technical skills," noted Alexander Dronov.

Summer intensive courses will begin soon. More than 90 students from the Polytechnic College will take part in the School 21 program. In July, they will be joined by students from colleges in other regions of Russia. During the intensive courses, they will master IT skills and improve their professional skills using the peer-to-peer method.
