Residents of Novgorod Region's Second City Are Being Crowded by Elks

Residents of Borovichi, the second largest city in the Novgorod region, report cases of forest dwellers, namely moose, entering their territory. The animals have already been spotted in several locations, in one place there were two of them, in another - four.
According to local publics, yesterday the moose "opened the swimming season" and went to the "Eternal Flame". The night passed without incident, however, according to some information, the moose continue to be in the urban environment today.
"Yeah, right. Scooters aren't enough for us, and now there are moose too...", complain the Borovichi residents.
Previously, Novgorod hunters and animal rights activists explained that during times when there are a lot of mosquitoes in the forests, moose in panic begin to seek refuge in open spaces.
