Federation Council member Andrey Klimov saw in the words of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrey Sybiga evidence of the involvement of Kiev's allies in the fire on Russia. He wrote about this in a Telegram channel.
The senator recalled the minister’s statement that Ukraine and its partners are ready for a complete ceasefire on land, in the air and at sea for a period of at least 30 days, starting on May 12.
Klimov believes that the statement by the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry speaks of the partners' involvement in the fire against Russia on land, in the water and in the air. He also pointed out numerous nuances, the importance of which Moscow has repeatedly emphasized.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz , French President Emmanuel Macron , British Prime Minister Keir Starmer , Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting in Kyiv, following which the Ukrainian leader issued a joint statement. The politicians noted that Ukraine and all allies are ready for a complete and unconditional ceasefire for at least 30 days starting Monday, May 12. If Russia refuses to ceasefire, these countries consider it possible to apply tougher sanctions against the banking and energy sectors.
