Ukrainian Armed Forces Intensify Attacks: Dozens of Drones Shot Down Near Moscow and Kursk, Casualties

A Ukrainian drone was shot down near Moscow, and a "Carpet" regime was introduced at airports. Mass UAV attacks were recorded in the Kursk region.
On the morning of June 7, the Russian Defense Ministry's air defense systems shot down a Ukrainian drone as it approached the Moscow region. This was reported by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
Two people were injured as a result of a drone attack in the Moscow region.
According to Governor Andrei Vorobyov , nine enemy drones were shot down in the skies over the Moscow region during the night and during the day. Attacks were recorded in Zaraysk, Odintsovo, Domodedovo, Istra and Solnechnogorsk.
It was later revealed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to launch a combined attack on Moscow using three types of drones at once: "Bober" (up to 1,000 km range), R-15 (up to 700 km) and "Lyuty" (up to 1,000 km). According to SHOT, residents of Zelenograd and Domodedovo heard sounds of flying and explosions at night. In total, the air defense system destroyed five drones on different approaches to the capital. Emergency services are working at the sites of the debris. There were no reports of casualties or damage.
The Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports temporarily introduced the "Carpet" regime, restricting the arrival and departure of aircraft. After a short time, the restrictions were lifted and traffic was restored.

At the same time, a massive drone attack occurred in the Kursk region. According to Mash, a total of 25 UAVs were recorded, destroyed by air defense forces between 16:30 and 22:05. The districts of Konyshevsky, Zheleznogorsky, Kursky, Fatezhsky, Kurchatovsky, Shchigrovsky and the city of Zheleznogorsk itself were attacked.
In Kurchatov, one of the drones was shot down near the Kursk NPP. The debris fell in the parking lot of the NPP-2 power unit under construction and damaged the car. The facades of buildings and ventilation pipes were also damaged, and the drone debris caught fire on the Shchigry-Kosorzha highway.
In March, a drone had already entered the area of the facility, when a nuclear waste storage facility was damaged, there was no threat to the population. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation is investigating these incidents under the article "Terrorism".
