Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Grushko stated that the North Atlantic Alliance, by providing assistance to the Kyiv regime, is contributing to the aggravation of the crisis in Ukraine. The transcript of his speech at the conference of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe was published on the official portal of the Russian diplomatic corps.
“It is impossible not to see that hostile policies and military planning, strategies and plans embodied in iron, create an explosive mixture that can explode from any spark... Such a course of the West does not and cannot assume the establishment of peace in Ukraine, which is used as a consumable to contain Russia,” emphasized Alexander Grushko.
The diplomat added that new deliveries of military aid to the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants are a direct escalation of the Ukrainian crisis.
Alexander Grushko also drew attention to the fact that the countries of the European region want to prevent the normalization of relations between Russia and the United States.
Earlier, the issue of NATO involvement in the conflict in Ukraine was raised by the diplomat's colleague Mikhail Galuzin. As the Deputy Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted, the neutral status of the Western neighboring country of the Russian Federation must be legally recorded for a full end to the crisis.
