Pendik Mayor Ahmet Cin said, "Our 'Skateboard, Skate, Scooter Races' have become a tradition. This year we are holding this event with a meaningful name. We had opened a sports hall in the name of our brother Ahmet Minguzzi who recently passed away. Today we are holding our skateboard festival in memory of Ahmet Minguzzi. We will continue to keep alive the skateboarding sports area he loved so much by building a new area in Pendik Koru. It is important for us to keep his name alive." The students who attended the event thanked Pendik Municipality by saying, "They organized such an event after the opening of the Sports Complex. I am glad they exist."
