2nd direct connection from Sabiha Gökçen to Austria: Graz

Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (ISG) International Airport, the 8th busiest airport in Europe in terms of passenger numbers, continues to directly connect important European centers to Istanbul through its partnerships. Flights to Graz (GRZ), the capital of the Austrian state of Styria, will be operated three times a week with Pegasus Airlines on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Flights on the new route started today (May 30, 2025). The ceremony held at the terminal for the first Graz flight departing from Sabiha Gökçen was the scene of colorful images. The photo shooting area themed around traditional Austrian clothing placed in the Gate area was appreciated by the passengers. Before the flight, guests were offered chocolate in the Gate area.
There are currently daily flights from Sabiha Gökçen Airport, the home base of Türkiye’s budget airlines AJet and Pegasus Airlines, to Vienna (VIE), the capital of Austria. Pegasus Airlines’ Graz line also connects the country’s second largest city to Istanbul via Sabiha Gökçen. Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport provides access to 146 destinations in 52 countries, 107 international and 39 domestic with its Graz connection.
History, art, nature and dynamism together in GrazGraz, an important administrative center during the Habsburg Dynasty, attracts visitors with its historical and cultural heritage. Graz Old Town (Altstadt) was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1999. The city, which has a population of approximately 300,000, is also known for the Schlossberg Hill.
