Bahçelievler Municipality: The majority of animals were sold

In a statement made by the municipality, it was stated that “The Çobançeşme sacrificial animal market in Bahçelievler was fruitful, the sellers were happy, the buyers were comfortable. The modern sacrificial animal sales area left behind a fruitful season on the eve of Eid al-Adha. Hours before the holiday, the vast majority of the cattle and sheep brought to the sacrificial animal market were sold. While the sellers were smiling, the buyers shopped with peace of mind in a safe, orderly and hygienic environment.”

The statement continued as follows:

"Both animal sales and citizen satisfaction were at a high level at the market, which has been open for about two weeks. Breeders from Tokat, Ağrı, Sivas and all over Türkiye say that sales were above expectations.

“The vendors spoke highly of the organization provided by our Municipality and expressed their satisfaction with the attention to detail, from cleanliness to security, from accommodation to veterinary services.

“We continue our work to ensure that citizens experience a trouble-free Eid with the police, cleaning and veterinary teams that will be on duty at the sacrifice slaughtering areas.”
