Novice butchers rushed to hospital in Başakşehir

Many people who cut their hands, arms and fingers during the sacrifice have applied to the hospital since the morning hours. While some of the injured came to the hospital on their own, some were brought by ambulance. Önder Ulu, who cut his hand during the sacrifice, said, "No matter how expert we are, no matter how much we know, the accident does not say 'I am coming'. It always happens somewhere. It is inevitable."
- On the first day of Eid al-Adha, novice butchers rushed to hospitals. While some of the wounded were discharged after outpatient treatment, others received emergency treatment.
'I SAID THERE WAS A STEEL GLOVE BUT THE FINGER WAS GONE'Önder Ulu, who injured his finger in the sawing machine at Kayabaşı Şamlık Sacrifice Slaughtering Center, said, "After slaughtering the animal, I was in the sawing section in the bone cutting. I got my finger caught in the saw. When the meat got stuck, it pulled my finger inward. It split my nail in half, and my finger too. They stitched it up inside for now. I am fine now, thank God. Thank God we got through it so cheaply, there are bigger cases inside. Ulu, who said he will return to the sacrifice slaughtering center again, said, "There are 54 more animals waiting for us right now. Unfortunately, we have to do it. We have to bring the whole thing, just like we sell it. First of all, I was afraid of the glove, the steel glove. I was suspicious, thinking 'the finger is gone'. I couldn't even take the glove off because I was scared. But thank God we got through it so cheaply. We slaughter it every year. This is the first time something like this has happened to me."
