Businessman and his wife who died in the accident were sent on their final journey

The accident occurred at around 22:30 the previous day on Fazıl Say Street in Mavişehir Neighborhood. The car with the registration number 35 CER 11, in which Mehmet Kazım Sertdemir lost control, crossed into the opposite lane and collided with the car with the registration number 35 BFB 374 driven by RA (42). The drivers and Seniye Sertdemir (72) and HNE (29) in the vehicles were injured in the accident. Of the injured who were taken to hospital , businessman Mehmet Kazım Sertdemir, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Atatürk Plastic Organized Industrial Zone in Menemen district, and his wife Seniye Sertdemir could not be saved. The bodies of the Sertdemir couple were taken to the morgue of İzmir Forensic Medicine Institute.

THEIR DAUGHTERS LEANED ON THE COFFIN AND CAME IN TEARS

After the autopsy procedures, the bodies were delivered to their relatives. A ceremony was held at Bostanlı Beşikçioğlu Mosque at noon for Mehmet Kazım Sertdemir and his wife Seniye Sertdemir. The Sertdemir couple's daughters Ceren Sertdemir Yavuz, son-in-law Mehmet Yavuz, Saniye Sertdemir's sisters Zafer Varvil, Zuhal Kireççi and Behiye Uca, Atatürk Plastic Organized Industrial Zone Board Chairman Salih Esen, İzmir Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone (IAOSB) Chairman Cenk Karace, Aegean Region Chamber of Industry (EBSO) Assembly Chairman İbrahim Gökçüoğlu and many business people attended the funeral. Their daughter Ceren Sertdemir leaned her head on her parents' coffin and cried for minutes. The Sertdemir couple were laid to rest in Yukarı Narlıdere Cemetery after the prayer.
