Holiday crowd at Bostancı Pier

Those who spent the Eid al-Adha holiday in Istanbul took advantage of the nice weather and came to Bostancı Pier to go to the Islands. Those who came to the pier from the early hours of the morning formed a long queue to get on the ferry.
Waiting in line at the pier, Selma Aktepe said, "Well, the holiday is not going to be like a holiday, everyone went to their hometowns this year. We stayed in Istanbul. I have a friend and we are thinking of going to the islands with her now. I mean, the old holidays are not as enjoyable. Our family and children are not with us. I can say that it is such a joyless holiday."
'IT IS NOT A HOLIDAY, IT IS A NORMAL DAY'Evaluating the holiday, Dilek Kalyoncu said, “The greatest beauty of the holiday is that it is a holiday. We work very hard. During the holiday, we at least have the opportunity to rest a little. Holidays are not like the old holidays. Children do not understand this. It is not a holiday anymore, it is a normal day, but we spend it as a holiday.”
'THE WEATHER IS GOOD, WE WILL GO TO THE ISLANDS'Berkan Teyin, who wanted to visit the Islands during his holiday, said, "The second day of the holiday is going well. The weather is nice and warm, we went outside. We are in Bostancı, we will go to the Islands, God willing."
