Due to the heavy snowfall that was effective a few days ago, single-story houses and cars in the Hüsrevpaşa Neighborhood were buried in snow. In Bitlis, which is one of the provinces that receives the most snowfall in Turkey, the snowfall that lasted for 3 days negatively affects life, and citizens living in single-story houses have difficulty entering and exiting their homes.

After the snowfall stopped, freezing cold weather took hold in the city, with icicles on the eaves reaching 2 meters in length. Meteorology officials reported that the air temperature dropped to minus 20 degrees at night.
