Applications are now open for the TEKNOFEST Artificial Intelligence Film Competition.

The competition, launched in collaboration with Google and the T3 Foundation, invites young people to create TEKNOFEST-themed short films using generative artificial intelligence tools (Google Gemini & Veo 3). First-place winners will receive 150,000 TL, second-place winners 120,000 TL, and third-place winners 100,000 TL. The deadline for applications is July 30th.

The competition, launched in collaboration with Google and the Turkey Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), is a project-based competition that encourages the production of short films using generative AI technologies. The primary goal of the competition is to demonstrate the potential of technology in artistic production, introduce young talent to generative AI tools, and foster the development of creative projects in this field.

The evaluation stages of the competition will be as follows:

What does TEKNOFEST mean to you with the theme "My TEKNOFEST"? You can participate in the competition by preparing a short film about your dream, experience, or vision for the future, supported by generative artificial intelligence. All university students (associate, undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and open education) and graduates studying in Türkiye or abroad can apply individually or in teams of up to four people. The first-place winner will receive 150,000 TL, the second-place winner 120,000 TL, and the third-place winner 100,000 TL. The deadline for applications for the TEKNOFEST Artificial Intelligence Film Competition is July 30th.
