Armed attack on court in Iran: 6 dead, 22 injured

Alireza Daliri, Deputy Provincial Police Chief, said the attackers attempted to enter the courthouse in Zahedan, a city in Iran's southeastern Sistan Baluchestan province, in the morning. He added that the threat was subsequently recognized and all three attackers were neutralized in a firefight.
Daliri stated that two of the attackers were killed in a nearby street while trying to escape, while the third attacker was shot before he could detonate a grenade he was carrying. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said at least six people were killed in the explosion and 22 others, mostly civilians, were injured. According to Daliri, a mother and her one-year-old child were among those killed.
Iranian media alleges that Israel carried out an armed attack on the courthouse in Zahedan, a city in Sistan Baluchestan province in southeastern Iran. It also stated that security forces evacuated employees and citizens from the building and that heavy security measures are currently in place around the courthouse.
