Details of the maternity leave arrangement for civil servants: Will there be any deductions from salary?

The Regulation on the Use of Part-Time Working Rights by Civil Servants was published in the Official Gazette last night.
According to the regulation published in the Official Gazette, both male and female civil servants will be able to work part-time from the birth of their child until they begin primary school. Female civil servants can apply for this right after their maternity leave and unpaid leave, and male civil servants whose wives give birth can apply after their paternity leave.
There will be no discrimination between men and women in exercising the right to part-time work. If both spouses are civil servants, both spouses will be eligible. Civil servants will be able to request part-time work from their institutions at any time during their part-time work period.
WILL THERE BE A SALARY CUT?
Civil servants who will benefit from part-time work will have half of their normal working hours and will not work more than 3 days per week. Civil servants will be able to receive half of their salaries and payments during this period. Female civil servants who work part-time will not be given breastfeeding leave. NO LEAVE FOR EXECUTIVES Civil servants who have adopted a child will also be able to benefit from the part-time work right. Civil servants working in positions with managerial titles such as branch manager and equivalent or above, as well as civil servants working in overseas organizations, will not be able to benefit from the part-time work right.
