The latest raise offer for public workers has been announced.

An important development took place today regarding the determination of the raise rate that will be valid for approximately 600 thousand public workers in 2025-2026. The government has submitted its final raise proposal to public workers.
The meeting lasted 15 minutes.
HERE IS THE NEW OFFER
For the first 6 months of 2025, it was increased from 17 percent to 24 percent.
For other periods, an increase in the rate of inflation was proposed.
Ramazan Ağar, Deputy Chairman of Türk İş, stated that an evaluation will be made on Monday.
FIGURES INCREASED IN THE SECOND BID
In its initial proposal, the government offered a 16 percent raise for the first six months of 2025, an 8 percent raise for the second six months, and a 7 percent raise for the first six months of 2026, and a 5 percent raise for the second six months. In the second proposal, these figures were raised to 17 percent for the first six months of 2025 and 10 percent for the second six months. The figures for 2026 remained unchanged. In response, the unions decided to implement a plan of action that included a one-day work stoppage.
