The only Turkish female pilot in the 2025 Rome Rally

Rally di Roma Capitale will start in front of the world-famous Colosseo and will be run on challenging asphalt stages around Rome and Fiuggi. This year's race will also be the longest and most challenging rally of Nazan Zorlu's career. While the ERC is described as the most competitive and technically challenging international rally series after the WRC, Zorlu and her team also shoulder the responsibility of being the only Turkish team competing in the 2025 Rally di Roma Capitale.
Zorlu, who achieved high harmony with his co-driver Özhan Çıplak, who started racing together last season, continues this season with the same car, Renault Clio Rally5, and the Italian technical team Rally Sport Evolution. The duo, who showed a consistent performance without receiving any penalties throughout last season, aim to carry this harmony even further on the international stage.
Sharing her views on the race, Nazan Zorlu said, "The Rome Rally is very special to me in terms of sport and symbolism. Apart from being the first race of the season, participating in such a long and technical race, starting from the Coliseum, is a new turning point in my career. It is very valuable for us to progress while maintaining team spirit. It is a great advantage to continue on the road with the same co-driver and technical team. We will proudly represent Türkiye on a high-level platform like the ERC in the 2025 season."
Planning two more races with challenging asphalt stages, the Barum Czech Rally Zlin and the Croatia Rally, for the rest of the season, the team aims to provide both sporting success and inspiring visibility for female athletes.
