Driver seriously injured in crash with transport truck in east London

A man is in hospital following a serious crash in London's east end Monday afternoon.

Emergency crews responded to a collision between a transport truck and passenger vehicle at Veterans Memorial Parkway and Dundas Street at around 4 p.m.

The driver of the vehicle was sent to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, police said. He remains in hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
