Your iPhone will look massively outdated this week and these images may prove why

There's a huge week ahead for Apple fans with the US technolgy firm about to unleash its next batch of shiny new devices. The big showcase will kick off at 6pm BST from Apple's HQ in Cupertino, California, and it could be one to watch out for. Rumours are rife that this event will be all about the iPhone 17 range which will almost certainly be faster, more intelligent and feature improvements to their cameras.
What could make things even better this year is the introduction of a new device called the iPhone 17 Air. It's thought that this super skinny smartphone could offer a far more pocket-friendly design that is thinner and lighter than anything Apple has launched before.
All of these updates could make what iPhone owners currently have in their pockets look massively inferior, especially for those who might not have upgraded in a while.
Of course, we won't find out anything from Apple until things get underway on September 9 but ahead of the main keynote some more images have been published that might show what's on its way.
Case maker dbrand is already selling iPhone 17 accessories with a standard, Pro and Air case, all available to buy ahead of the launch.
Images of the cases seem to confirm what many have been speculating with the iPhone 17 looking similar to the current iPhone 16.
The Pro appears to be getting a refresh that will include a huge camera bump that goes right across the rear of the panel.
Meanwhile, the skinny iPhone Air looks like it's getting a single rear camera and an expansive display. It's thought the Air will replace the Plus models currently on sale so expect a screen that measures in at around 6.7 inches.
All of the upcoming iPhone 17 range appears to feature MagSafe technology for improved charging and adding accessories such as Apple's MagSafe Wallets.
Luckily, there's not long until we find out full details and Express.co.uk will bring you all the news live as it happens so watch this space.
