El Confidencial and PIMCO organized the forum "Guidelines for Navigating a 2025 of Uncertainties and Challenges" on Wednesday. During the event, top-level experts such as José Manuel González Páramo , Chairman of the Board of Directors of European DataWarehouse; Nemesio Fernández Cuesta, Senior Energy Advisor at Alantra Partners; Miguel Otero , Senior Research Fellow at the Elcano Royal Institute and Professor at the IE School of Global and Public Affairs; and Raymond Torres, Director of Economic Situation at Funcas, analyzed the turbulent global, European, and Spanish geopolitical and economic landscape in which we find ourselves.
The day began with a discussion between PIMCO's Executive Vice President, Juanma Jiménez , and the Vice President of the Federal Reserve (FED), Richard Clarida. After that, it was the turn of Sabadell President Josep Oliu, who, interviewed by journalist Javier Jorrín , analyzed the the situation of the Spanish and European financial sector , at a key moment for the bank.
